MET A / Bear Head Camp · withdrawn September 5, 2025

The developer's July 2025 application placed proposed MET A near a gas well characterized as abandoned in an environmental study. An August letter acknowledged that gas-well permit 083-53597 was active and produced gas in 2024. A September letter then withdrew MET A's township application after the operator confirmed it was operational. Black Cherry said its inspection did not identify material safety concerns and that it intended to relocate the proposal. The red symbol marks a proposed site, not an existing or demolished tower.

Land Management Systems · easement terminated July 2026

Recorded instrument 202602331 (Book 1115, Page 193) releases a 2024 meteorological-tower easement between Black Cherry Wind Power, LLC and Land Management Systems, Inc. Exhibit A identifies property in Liberty Township, including parcel 26-009-113. The legal description does not establish the exact location of a tower. If that tax parcel appears in the map's existing property layer, a gold parcel-context marker is shown at its approximate mapped center.
